EXIT EDIT MODE

METHACRYLATE FLOORING SYSTEMS (PMMA)

Methacrylate Flooring Systems are the first choice when it comes to industries and working areas.

Our highly competitive world leads to shorter and shorter production pauses and facility shutdowns. Usually, all minor maintenance works must be executed within 24 hours during weekends. At the same time, when a new production area is constructed, everyone involved pushes for shorter work schedules. But what happens with floors? Floors are a major factor in production areas, no one should minimize their application time as it directly affects their quality.

Epoxy and polyurethane materials are the most commonly used materials in production areas, especially when hygienic requirements are involved. Their application time ranges between 3 to 4 days and their curing time requires an additional 2-day time. In order to properly install these resin flooring systems without compromising their quality, a 6-day period is the minimum requirement, in standard temperature conditions.

What happens though when local floor refurbishment actions are mandatory, but the available time frame is not enough?

What happens when a project must be completed in a shorter time schedule?

What happens when you have to repair a freezer floor, but there in no time to unfreeze and refreeze the area?

Methacrylate floors are the answer to the above and many more time related cases.

The curing time of PMMA resins lays between 1 to 5 hours, after application, depending on the environmental temperature. This unique property in combination with DPK Constructions’ expertise guarantee that flooring works can be completed in an extremely limited amount of time. With PMMA flooring systems we achieve minimum disruption to the product line or working process, we have limited production pause schedules and the working areas are ready to use in a very short period of time. We can create a seamless PMMA coving on almost every vertical surface. Repairs and future extensions can be done without great difficulty.

Methacrylate Flooring Systems are the best choice when it comes to freezer and cold store areas. They can be applied even in extremely low temperatures like -20oC. This means that the new floor or the local repairs can be completed without defrosting those areas thus saving time and money.

REASONS WHY METHACRYLATE FLOORS ARE A SUPERB CHOICE.

High resistance to impact and mechanical loads
Friction resistant
Age resistant
Short closure schedules
Meets all hygiene requirements
Possibility to create slip resistant surface
No joints, easy to clean surfaces
Resistance to direct sunlight
Possibility to create multi colored surfaces
Seamless coving surface

Methacrylate floors are a highly competitive choice.

As a matter of fact, they are your only choice when time in not enough and let’s face it, time is never enough.
