EPOXY FLOORING SYSTEMS (EP)
The epoxy flooring systems can be 2 or 3 component systems applied on top of a meticulously prepared substrate.
The 3-component system is the epoxy floor while the 2-component system is the epoxy paint.
The thickness of the epoxy self-leveling floors ranges between 2mm and 8mm. The thickness of the epoxy paints ranges between 200μm - 500μm.
Epoxy floors and epoxy paints are two different things. Floors have greater thickness, they are more durable and they are usually installed in heavy traffic areas. On the other hand, paints are extremely thin coatings suitable only for moderate human traffic. The cost of paints is definitely more appealing, but the future result might disappoint you. After standard professional use for a rather small amount of time, your floor will probably need refurbishment.
The critical part for a successful floor application is the proper grinding of the substrate. We own state of the art equipment (shot blasting, diamond grinders, industrial vacuum cleaners etc), in order to make the correct floor preparation and at the same time ensure that this is a dust free and short period procedure.
Repairs and future extensions can be executed without great difficulty.

The final surfaces are uniform and seamless therefore, they are a special and impressive floor solution for contemporary residencies.

PHARMA TERRAZZO
DPK Constructions is the leading applicator of Pharma Terrazzo floor in Greece. Pharma Terrazzo is a heavy-duty epoxy mortar. It meets all hygiene requirements and it is very durable that is why it is the first flooring choice of pharmaceuticals industries for production and packaging areas. Pharma Terrazzo floors are usually combined with a seamless hygienic coving created by the same mortar. The coving can be applied on all vertical surfaces, panels or regular walls.
