Therefore, we would like to introduce you to the curing compounds or else “cures”.

More specifically, we would like to present you the unique material Pentra®-Sil (HD+C), by the Belgian company Convergent Group.

It’s a specially engineered penetrating hardener, densifier and sealer for polished concrete, engineered with Responsive Separation Technologyô (RST). It is applied to fresh concrete slabs immediately after finishing operations are complete.

This special technology creates a membrane barrier on the surface -Liquid Film Forming Curing Compound- preventing water from evaporating while allowing the Nano-Lithiumô component to penetrate and react with the free-lime and unhydrated cement particles. This novel layering process improves both curing and hardening characteristics, creating a tougher, long-term, abrasion-resistant surface IN ONE APPLICATION.

In simple words, by applying Pentra®-Sil (HD+C) after concrete casting, the concrete cures uniformly, properly, and without cracking. After the 28 days required for the full concrete curing, the final surface is already durable and abrasion resistant. The traditional method would require additional densification works after the 28-day curing period.
